Global Positioning System (GPS) Surveys

Accurate and cost-effective field locations can also be obtained by using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to gather the horizontal and vertical positions of various items in the field, especially where these items or control points are several miles apart or difficult to access with conventional methods.

The GPS equipment owned and utilized by our firm incorporates the latest state-of-the-art advancements in GPS technology. This includes four dual-frequency Trimble Navigation model 4000SSi Geodetic Surveyor units. This newest surveying methodology can provide substantial savings in time and cost for many client needs.
 

This technology is used for A-order, B-order and First-order geodetic control surveys and real-time kinematic surveys (all at less than one-centimeter accuracy) for:
